Shipping & Returns

Your shipping costs will be calculated by weight and packaging size, as we believe this to be the most acurate and fair method. In some instances it is necessary to increase the given weight of an item to allow for the larger packaging required for posting. The combined weight of all of the items in your shopping basket will be calculated to provide you with a final shipping fee at checkout. Please see the table below for weight and postage prices, and contact us for further postage information.

All orders are shipped 1st Class Royal Mail, and are suitably packaged.

We are happy to ship to the EU and the ROW  (rest of world).  Please contact us before placing your order and we will advise you on postage costs.

Once an order has been placed we aim to process and despatch your goods within 3 working days as standard.  There are occasionally further delays due to periods of high demand and the fact that our cards and gifts are carefully hand crafted.  If this is the case you will be notified and contacted for further arrangements within 24 hours of placing the order.

If you require your order sooner than the standard 3 working days, please contact us to discuss arrangements.

For large orders, we will contact you with an estimated delivery date.

We do stress that we cannot be held responsible for any delays within the postal system, which are beyond our control. If a delivery you are expecting has not arrived within 5 working days of your shipment confirmation email, please let us know. We will treat each case individually, although Royal Mail do state that a letter, parcel or package is not deemed lost until 15 days after postage. At this point, we will make a claim to Royal Mail for a refund. This can take several weeks, so we will refund you or replace your lost items free of charge. If the parcel does arrive at any point, we do ask that you then return it to us (this is not applicable to personalised cards). We will refund any postage costs incurred to yourself.

If you need your items urgently, please ask for a special delivery quote. This is the only way to ensure that your goods will be with you the next working day, and can often reduce any worries and stress. The amount will be added to your invoice if you have opted to pay by credit/debit card and the extra amount debited with your authority. If payment has been made by paypal, we can send you a money request. If the cheque payment option has been selected, we ask that you do not send your payment until the final cost is confirmed. We will bank your cheque as soon as possible but will not dispatch the goods until payment has cleared.


Payment

Pretty Beautiful offer a number of different payment methods, just choose which option is the most suitable for you.

We accept credit/debit card payments via our secure online facility. Payments will appear on your bank statement as “PrettyBeautiful”.



We also accept payments via Paypal which accepts credit/debit card payments, or payment through an existing Paypal account. You do not have to have a Paypal account in order to use the Paypal payment process.



A cheque payment option is available, but please be aware that your order will not be dispatched until your cheque has cleared (usually 5 – 7 working days).

You can also place your order via the website, and then pay over the phone. To do this, please choose the cheque payment option, and then simply call us with your card details and we will process your payment.

Site Security

Pretty Beautiful is secured with a SSL (secure socket layer) provided by GoDaddy.  This protects our database and the checkout procedure, and keeps your personal and credit card details safe.

When you reach the 'checkout', look out for the 'https' in the URL in your internet browser, or the packlock icon.  The presence of 'https' and the padlock, confirm that you are in a secure area of the web site.

Returns

If for any unfortunate reason you are unhappy with your order, please contact us immediately so that we can rectify the problem.

If your card has been personalised, and we have made a mistake, a replacement card will be despatched at no extra cost to yourself.  We do ask that you then return the original card to us unused and as received.  A refund of the return postage costs will be issued.

If you simply change your mind, you are then responsible for return postage and packaging costs.  A refund of the initial order price (excluding postage) will be issued upon receipt of the undamaged card.
